WEDNESDAY, June 14th

Storytime at the Brandon Public LibraryJoin us for a free, friendly Story Time about inclusion, acceptance, and sexual and gender diversity at the public library! Ideal for ages 3-5, library staff and Brandon Pride Committee members will read stories and lead children in simple songs. Children will make crafts to take home, and to decorate the library for Pride Week. Please register ahead of time. Pride Art Gallery Opening at the AGSM 7:30pmWe are excited to announce that Brandon Pride and the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba will showcase Westman based artists in the LGBTQ2IA* community as part of an art exhibition that will debut with a free and public opening reception with wine and snacksĀ  at 7:30pm. After the exhibition we will be heading over to the Double Decker for Queeraoke!

7pm Board game night at Boardgame Empire

Join us taking to the streets for our 3rd annual Pride March. We’ll gather at Brandon City Hall before marching to Stanley Park.

After the march, come grab some free BBQ and see local act Misty Street, followed by Winnipeg’s Amy Storry and then none other than RAE SPOON will be wrapping up entertainment. If that wasn’t amazing enough, we got our hometown hero Levi Foy coming to emcee the whole event. Did we mention Rae Spoon is going to be there?

10pm Pride Social at RoadhouseCome join the biggest LGBT2SQ+ party of the year in Brandon.
We are joining forces with the CanadInns Great Western Roadhouse to bring you some amazing music and fun!
Theme for this year is WHEAT QUEENS! Winnipeg Drag Queen, Levi Foy will join us as emcee as well as special guest appearance by the Sunshine Girls.
Tickets are $10. You can buy them in advance at Smitten or SERC. Please remember to bring them exact change!

SUNDAY, June 18th

2pm Steinbach Pride Q and A at SERC

Join us for the opportunity to sit down for a Q&A with Michelle Mchale and Karen Phillips the organizers of the first Pride march and rally in Steinbach, Manitoba, held on July 9, 2016. It garnered national attention in Canada when no elected officials representing the area chose to attend. The organizers expected 200 people, but 5,000 people attended. SERC will provide snacks.
